Very tacky.
You should wear it pinned to your underwear.

It can be tacky, but anything can be if you take it too far. I Am Wiccan. I have a few pentacles that I wear with pride, but they are discreet. No one has ever asked me about them. They aren't obvious, I wear them to sub. teach at a Catholic school! I do wear a lot of crystals and gems for their healing abilities, and people only comment on how beautiful they are, or where they came from. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing a tshirt that says WICCAN. I don't like tshirts in general, and I do live in South Dakota, a very conservative state. I do have a "hippie earth child" style of dressing, but I've been that way since high school, and non one gives me crap about it, and I wouldn't change if they did. Personally, I think WWJD or any other Christian shirts are annoying. But hey, live and let live, ya know? As long as they don't wear stuff saying DIE TAWN DIE, I could care less. :)

I think it is sacra religious to use religious symbols and such as fashion statements. Also, it seems so disrespectful to have bumper stickers "advertising" your religion. I can't stand that stuff. I wear a cross necklace, but not because I think it's pretty and goes well with what I'm wearing. I wear it for the comfort it gives me and to always remember Jesus' sacrifice. And it also keeps me in line sometimes, when I'm doing something I shouldn't and catch a glimpse of it.

I don't think it's tacky. I personally wouldn't do it because I'm a private person. However, for some people religion is a major factor in their lives and knowing their religion helps you to understand them. I don't see any problem with those types of people (or anybody else, really) advertising that they are a member of a certain religion.

Yes. I have no problems with small shows of faith like small pendants bearing a religious symbol of choice. I guess I draw the line at something worn for personal reasons and something worn so everyone will know what the person is. Unless we're discussing religion, I don't care what your religion is. And unless we're discussing religion, I _really_ don't want you to tell me about your religion, just like I don't want to randomly hear about your favorite TV show or football team.

But you should take pride in your religion. Though you shouldn't be smug about it and self-righteous. Think of it this way, if you are dating someone, you don't just go about avoiding him and trying to show the world there's no connection there. If you are dating someone chances are you'll talk to him more and hold hands, kiss, etc. It goes the same for religion, you shouldn't have to hide it at all.

It all depends on the person wearing it. if you like wearing your religion on your sleeve go for it. Every one has the own ways of doing things. I wear a cross necklace and have a cross tattoo. other people like keeping their religion a secret but why? if your proud of it share it, if not then you must be ashamed. that my opinions.

As long as you aren't forced to, why does others embracing their own beliefs bother you?
Aside from the bigotries associated with most beliefs, there's nothing wrong with personal beliefs. I couldn't tell you how to remove those prejudices, but people are always to eager to believe what they hear or read, whether it be from Corporate sponsored research, Ancient Scriptures, or Government controlled media outlets. Governments promote bigotry just as much as religions.

If a person is comfortable wearing religion on their clothes, its their choice...It's only when you are in the workplace when you have to abide by codes of dress when people can't express themselves. Any other time is perfectly fine as long as the person is happy.

what's the purpose in that? you action should help a person realize what your faith is. tattoos tell a lot. BUT everyone wearing one has probably changed WHO they WERE when they first got it, everyone makes dumb mistakes, once you find out better you change. and of course you're not proud of the tattoo. Leviticus 19:28 reads “‘And YOU must not make cuts in YOUR flesh for a deceased soul, and YOU must not put tattoo marking upon yourselves. so Christan's don't put tattoo markings on their body, they were probably there BEFORE that.
