I have a 1994 and the air bag leaks and makes noise, I guess it's the motor topping off the bag with air.
I believe I read that the bag wears against something and gets a hole in it. Good idea to go with shocks.
Rightnow is right on!
Better yet, get rid of it and buy a Toyota.
You will be dumping a lot of money into that car if you don't.
Nothing but trouble and money.
Read consumer reports, Lincolns are terrible!

You don't need all four Lincoln Towncars only have air in the rear so when you go to check make sure its for a Towncar and not the Continental completely different setup. if you can't fix the air suspension yourself then its probably better to switch it over regardless of the price differences now because there is a ot of components to the system and something else later will go wrong so just call it good and replace it.

I think if you will check closely you will find that you already have shocks on the rear.. the air bags only replace the rear springs.. if you do have the shocks on the back then all you will need do is to replace the bags with springs.. you can look for them online.. there is a strut and spring company in florida that do an excellent job and the price is right.. plus they send you a step by step guide to remove the old and install the new.. good luck

i might attempt your success with the activate the sprint first. Its elementary to restoration and greater fee-effective. If it became a caught door then you definately might nonetheless be getting cool air you basically wouldnt have administration the place it became blowing. it may be blowing on the floor or in the process the defroster vents. Now something else to check is you have 2 hoses that still run into your A/C heating gadget that bypass engine coolant on your heater. those could have shutoff valves and in the event that they are actually not shutting impressive then you definately've the two warm coolant and cool freon blowing on an identical time and often the warmth wins. in the adventure that your searching for a speedy restoration that way I even have considered human beings cut back the hose and placed a valve in there so contained in the iciness you open the valve and contained in the summertime you shut it. style of ghetto notwithstanding it works and that's way less costly.
