Hello pal, long time no see. My answer is: Gee I don't know, maybe the desire for some church leaders to instill exclusive-ity? Kind of like the "I love you and only you" syndrome? If you love only one person or "only" one ideology (with a fixation), how are you going to feel about the rest of the world or other ideologies?

Religious determination so often distorts as mars people. There is nothing wrong with believing in god but when some people start with the condemning to hell and the "this is the ONLY right religion".. just messed up. There is no one correct way of believing or being. All religions are flawed and are wrong in their own ways. They all also have something valuable and worthwhile but a lot of the time no one gets to see that side b/c it's being obfuscated by hard headed ness and fear. So sad and so scary.

super question, inspite of the undeniable fact that it useful delivered out some haters! i think the Bible became written by way of adult adult males and a few of it is fallible, yet i'm going to play alongside for a minute - the Bible says this guy or woman or that guy or woman would be positioned to loss of life... the place does it stick to which you're meant to be the only to do it? There are extra cases in interior the Bible that tell use we are to steer in elementary terms by way of occasion, and that we would desire to constantly provide our superb to the lowliest. That sounds like a lots holier existence form than attempting to be God's vengeful splendid hand. .

I wonder about this often when I see some of the post on here,
and it make me wonder why.
do they have the love of God or the love of religion.
in the bible the only ones that Jesus condemned were the religious leaders who were leading people it the wrong direction.
in the second commandment that Jesus gave, "to love your neighbor as yourself" it DOES NOT add, if they believe the same way that you do.
some times we need to put our selves into the other man's, or woman's place and think about how we would react being told the things that we are saying.

because hatefull people like to shift the blame onto a higher power, everyone seems to assume they speak for god, im sure youve seen those idiots standing their 4 year old in the street with a "god hates fags" sign,
its like people who claim if you play stairway to heaven backwards youll hear satanic messages
if you want to find a passage in the bible that supposts your beliefs, if you distort the meaning enough and read between a lot of lines youll find one
in other words its not the religeon thats bad its the whackjobs that hate other people and try to find passages in the bible that support their nutjobbery that are the problem

They sin without even knowing it. Vanity, cold-heartedness, ignorance and a corrupted sense of pride are sins in my view. What's so difficult about these sins is most people don't even realise they commit them and they're so deceived they even think their sins actually make them holy.
They believe in God- which is good- while failing to follow the second most important comandment of the new testament: love your neighbour.
Another sin they commit is that they believe they know the answers to life and the afterlife, even though God is the only one who can and is permitted to judge. Any person of any religion who states they 'know' someone is in or will go to hell is comparing themselves to God- again, a form of vanity without even realising it. A person who says someone is in or is going to heaven is not commiting a sin in my view (or at least a much lesser sin), as at least it is showing love for your neighbour and the emotions God wants you to feel, which makes you a better- rather than a bitter- person. That is following God's love.

Hard question but I would hinder to guess human frailty and bitterness. Please understand not all of us are that way, and not even all those are all the time. Children, new in the faith, who have not grown in their faith often resort to "spiritual tantrums." Please forgive them. Look around we are not all full of bitterness and hate. I have seen many living out their lives quietly and faithfully. Making no noise and going unnoticed by this world we live in. Good news seldom makes the paper.

it's really a matter of definition.
if I say that it's my opinion that if you don't accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you will not be granted entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven, some people might call it hate, while I call it my beliefs.
if I go around hitting Hindus on the head with blunt objects just because they are Hindus, now that's hate.

That's a good question. I guess these people can't practice what they say they believe in. I wonder how far that will get them?
