(I am an old 64 year old man, and that is one of the few pleasures I get. So, I was just wondering how you felt about it.)

Yes I do, although I have to admit I sometimes get jealous if I'm not getting anything.

I love giving gifts and watching the faces of those recieveng them when they see what's inside. I will have to admit that I also like GETTING gifts too. The only time that I don't like giving a gift is when it is overlooked and received without any sort of pleasure or thankfulness. That's a total drag on my day.

Usually. It's a bit awkward if the person receiving the gift doesn't seem to like it, but usually I enjoy seeing other people receive gifts.

Very much so.

Also, 64, that's not so old nowadays, don't be so hard on yourself. Loads and loads of time to enjoy yourself and watch a lot more people receiving gifts!!

Cheers

Hi Wayne,
You still have me by a few years but eventually, I hope to catch up to your age. (Ha, Ha.) I also enjoy watching others as they receive their gifts. For many years, I was the only one who wanted to pass out the gifts. Now, there are many who almost fight to do so. It is wonderful to watch the little ones open their gifts as their eyes almost GLOW! Have a wonderful Holiday season. I just had my 51st birthday on Sunday.
Thanks,
Eds

No Sir, I do not enjoy seeing posh people receiving gifts. I enjoy seeing poor and needy people getting gifts, I only have pleasure in seeing these people getting something to make them somehow happy.

Yes, especially the Gift from God. Nothing is better than his Gift, nothing!!

So, since you feel good when you see that person happy from the gift that you gave him/her. You can image how God would feel if you or others would receive his gift. And pure joy upon his face reflect off the joy he sees on his children's face.

I love gift giving. I really like to get something the person really likes. I try to listen to the person all year and remember something they mentioned. I love it when they are surprised I thought of it. I don't really enjoy receiving gifts, as long as I and my family are healthy and happy that is gift enough.

Absolutely. I suppose that is a selfish trait, but I am more fulfilled seeing the enjoyment of others rather than having some "thing" given to me. Ususally that fulfillment is the better of the gifts.

i'm overwhelmed with all the stuff I certainly have and can't honestly think of of something i desire or desire that should be wrapped and placed under the tree, so getting is definitely not my cup of tea. Giving a present it is significant and brings exhilaration to somebody is a good feeling - extremely once you spot them enjoying it for better than sooner or later.
