My mom has full custody. We live in michigan and my dad lives in Ohio. He cant come and fight for custody because he has some kind of warrant for all the child support he owes but he is starting to pay it off and has been since June.

Any man who does not support his children is a dead-beat. Once you are an adult, you can do whatever you want. While you are still a minor, you should follow your Mom's rules.

by law she can stop you. its called she has custody until your 18 which at that time your adult. as for your father whats he going to do when cops knock on his door and arrest him for outstandin warrants? leave you alone? he needs to face his charges. come back and get caught up on support. if hes been paying the court will know it and be easier on him. no matter what he owes ur mom that money. she took care of you when he wouldnt stand up and be a man so its her money . maybe if he tried and do right your mom would say yes you can stay with him. she wants whats best for you. does your dad think if u live with him he dont have to pay? thats what my sisters ex thought. he owed 30,000$ in back childsupport. then after not being around for 16yrs he told nephew oh come stay with me. court said he still has to pay cause it was a debt to my sis not child support he pays to take care of child now....

It sounds like you got stuck in the middle of a battle between your parents. You could file for emancipation then go live whereever you want. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to spend time with your dad just because he fell behind in child support. It sounds like your mom is holding you hostage.
