I don't fear it, but I fear it happening before I have a chance to do all the things I want to do in my life.

I have no fear of Death. Because I know that when im dead that there is a life after this one. Theres something within the conscience of a person that feels as if when you die that its not over. Eventhough im a theist, Like you I also hope that its not anytime soon because there some things that I would also like to experience. Not to say that I dont want to go to heaven right away, but you do live this life once.

I fear death because I know there is no afterlife and this is the only life I have. That is why I sometime have dreams of being murdered as a reminder to get the most from this life.

I don't fear the pain of it, but I enjoy my life pretty well and don't want to give it up. So, I do fear annihilation, though in reality, I won't know if that happens, so it could be an irrational fear. I tend to think that I will be absorbed into some type of "oversoul" but I really have no idea.
I am firm in my belief that there's not a whole lot I can do about it either way, so I try not to obsess on it. Whatever happens will happen.

The only part of death I fear is not being able to watch my children grow if it came to that. Beyond that, there is nothing to fear in death. It is but another stage of living.

I am a Buddhist. I do not fear death. I began to die the day I was born. I, like all things, am impermanent. Nothing stays the same, everything changes. When I die in this life, I will be reborn in the next. What is there to fear?

Not really. I've had a great life so far, and continue to do so. Some day it has to be over. I'm an atheist, too. So death is not a big deal to me, it's just a biological event. I certainly don't believe in any kind of "afterlife."

Death is a natural part of life. I rejoice death as much as I would rejoice birth. I believe that our bodies are dead, but it is made alive by the energy (which is ourselves, call it your soul or what ever your belief calls it) which pulsates through it. When the energy moves on, only then do we perceive the person to be dead. We were never created, therefore we cannot die.

I fear the physical pain of death. I just hope I am too doped up on morphine when I go to know I am feeling pain. I don't do pain very well. I cried when I got my ears pierced.
I am agnostic.

I do not fear death, because death is the natural order of life. To have life someone must die, to die someone must have life. it is the simple principle of equivalent exchange. "In order to gain something must first be lost" - Alphonse Elric, in the hit anime Fullmetal Alchemist.
I am Pagan, may Athena grant you the knowledge you seek.
