Once while waiting for the doctor in an examining room I over heard the doctor in the next room telling the mother of a young girl that her daughter was pregnant. The daughter was screaming honest mom I never did it with anyone.
So obviously this must still be happening even if no one believes these girls.
love and blessings Don

If God should continue to give his servants the ability to perform miracles, that would not convince everyone, for not even all the eyewitnesses of Jesus’ miracles were moved to accept his teachings. (John 12:9-11) On the other hand, scoffers are warned by the Bible that there will yet be stupendous acts of God performed in the destruction of the present system of things.—2 Pet. 3:1-10; Jesus’ ministry was not to heal the sick and perform other miracles. Rather, he made the preaching of the good news of God’s Kingdom his main work. (Matthew 9:35; Luke 4:43; 8:1) That Kingdom is the means by which God will accomplish the miraculous healing of mankind and undo all the damage that sin and imperfection have wreaked upon the human family.

I believe there are miracles that happen often but most of the population of the world doesn't accept it as a miracle or writes it off as a fluke. I think as a whole mankind has become oblivious to miracles that happen around them daily. And in all honesty if God made a miracle of a virgin becoming pregnant would you believe it was the work of God or would the woman be labled as a liar and even if science proved she was technically a virgin a majority of people still wouldn't believe it and the scientist would be working double duty to give a scientific reason why it happened.

The miracles were signs to authenticate the Word of God. We have the Word of God now in the Old and New Testaments. We have the Holy Spirit living in the hearts of believers. We have many people turning from sin to God through faith in Christ. That is the greatest miracle of all!

Some miracles do happen now a day but some just don't testify. Also people don't seem to be getting as involved with God as in the past. Many have forgotten what it means to be Christian. It is not just going to church and praying once in a while. if one wants to be used by God to perform miracles one has to pray more, fast more, and follow God always. You have to put God first before everything else.

They do happen today. 99% of people don't look for them, but if you asked on here for people to anonymously share the miracles they have experienced, you would get 1000's. The problem is in this day and age, people think you are "crazy" if you tell. I will tell 1 of mine, & possibly the "world" will blow them off as not miracles. But they are, I lived them & I am a very normal person. 1. When I was 14, I was hit severely in the head w- a surfboard, rushed to the hospital by ambulance, dr's said: "sorry mom & dad" her brain is swelling so fast we can't even get a dr. here in time. (1966), so my parents, devout Jesus people, sat down & started praying. 2 hours later the hospital called my folks and said "She is fine, just woke up,nothing wrong with her" Now, will you believe that or will you disprove it was some kind of medical intervention, for the hospital did nothing but put me in a bed. I have had many in my life like this, email me and I'll share them all :) So will many others, we do, earthly people don't want to think of them as miracles. this story is nothing different than Jesus healing the leper !! or raising lazarus for I was as good as dead 3 times in my life :)

Because miracles were a way to identify the servants of God at that time. They didn't have a complete Bible, remember. In Jesus case specifically, he needed to prove that he was indeed the promised Messiah. The miracles were performed by the power of Holy Spirit. The Bible, a product of that same Holy Spirit, is what leads us to him now.

Miracles do happen today.
On GMTV this morning there was a baby born who weighed just 1lb - it was a miracle she survived.
Ok that is just one example but lots of things like this are happening all over the world and people are being saved.
God wants to use you to create a miracle - open your heart and let Him. He has big plans for you.

Actually there is a story in the daily mail to-day in which a woman who could not walk but has prayed constantly can now walk. Doctors have no explanation. I mention this not as proof
of a miracle but as a possibility that thee has been one. I know which way your mind will go hence I do not offer proof.

Now people dont get killed for practicing science, so there are no more miracles. Its just science. Today if someone said, they had a virgin birth, we would say, um no. Now if someone claimed to have had a miracle, camera crews would be sent and it would be investigated, and proven no. Back then it was word of mouth, with word of mouth anything is possible.
