It shouldn't be a big deal, but it is to those who are completely ignorant and enjoy being that way.

whilst determining a president one might desire to evaluate his/her skills, no longer the president's intercourse, faith, or race. it incredibly is united states of america, no longer Nazi Germany. people who're questioning this manner at the instant are not incredibly questioning interior the superb pastime of the country. How can any of the above be any worse than countless the presidents we've had interior the speedy. I lived in Michigan whilst George Romney. He became an intensive relative of Mitt (sorry to illustrate MY stupidity because of the fact i do no longer remember the courting). G. Romney became additionally a Mormon and a respectable governor. And Michigan has yet to tutor right into a 2nd Utah.

Well I think it's a big deal. We'll finally get someone in office with some decent values. I mean REAL values, not just lip-service during the stump speech.
And judging by all the bigotry that's getting air-time in the media, I'd say alot of other people think it's a big deal too, though maybe for different reasons.

I think that a lot of peoples concern outside of the US is how much America cares about religion in government. It seems to be a big vote winner.

Will have a president belonging to cult and secret society.
Mormons are not Christians and Joseph Smith was a fraud.
I would rather vote for an atheist then for a loon.

I doesn't really make any difference what religion the president is. The majority of the population of The United States of Yankee Doodle Dandy Land will never realise that the rest of the world hates them.

Mormonsim is a division of freemasonry
Joseph smith openly admitted to being one, and both divisions offer the order of Melchizedek, and as the bible tells you, there is only one Melchizedek the high preist Jesus Christ
but mormonsim and freemasonry teach the same thing
you can become gods yourself
this is why they have the order of melchizedek
and this is why mormons beleive that jesus was a created man that became god
oh,
and if you want to be an astronaguht you have to be either a freemason or a mormon,
it's a big movement with its satanic undertone, which the everyday nice smiling mormon knows nothing about
but yet it controls a state

it was a big deal when Kennedy ran, that he was a Catholic.... Romney made a big mistake when he made his speech about his Mormonism.... we'll see less and less of him as time goes by.....I don't see him ever making it to 'party choice', let alone people's choice and President.... not gonna happen..............

I, personally, find it slightly disturbing that a reasonable and educated person could buy that Joseph Smith/Moroni/Polygamy...no wait...no polygamy stuff, but as long as he could keep it in his personal life and agree to govern according to the will of the people, I don't care too much.

It's a big deal for many...personally I do not look at religion as a factor, only character.
