if you started doing things that were wrong (such as dismissing chris comer) then obviously i would attempt to impede you. (you would probably see this as my being mean to you).
if you invaded baghdad and started murdering schoolchildren i might even go out on the streets to demonstrate against your actions.
(you probably wouldn't like that either).

Nope, I wouldn't start being mean to you, unless you consider me telling you "I am not interested." and expecting you to respect that I am not interested and therefore cease and desist any preaching you may have been doing to illicit the "I am not interested", mean...
A lot is in perspective I don't find it the least bit rude to expect religious people to stop preaching when met with "I am not interested."... Religious people on the other hand often seem to think I am being not only mean but also rude... Especially when they do not cease and desist and I raise my voice slightly as it appears they have hearing difficulty and need volume in order to hear me speak...
A lot of miscommunication and hurt feelings on the part of christians could easily be avoided if they would simply take the time to listen rather than going about their own agenda with a deaf ear... If they want to communicate both speaking and listening are included... Many show they are simply there to preach as they forget the listening portion of communicating and simply continue talking...

It would entirely depend on you.
1.. if you start raving at people and calling them evil etc (which is one of the fundies fave things to do) you will probably get some heat back.
2.. Mean is in the eye of the beholder. By which I mean that to a well balanced person, my conflicting view is just that but to an unbalanced person, my conflicting view may be perceived as an attack on all that's holy (including themselves)

i do no longer understand what the version is. i'm fairly effective i might have qualified as a fanatical Christian, yet when I have been given faraway from the kin, I basically began to question issues. possibly some anybody is basically greater skeptical then others.

Only if you were mean to me--normally I don't care what another person believes/doesn't believe--it's their ability to carry on a conversation without assuming that everyone else believes the same way that drives me nuts! Fanatical xtians tend to do just that!

I think if anyone becomes a fanatic they lose friends. Depends on what you would do as a fanatic. If it was to devote yourself to it then that's up to you. If it impacted other peoples life then yes, I think people would be mean to you.

Actually, if you turned a 'fanatical christian', I should be worried about your reaction as how you may try to impose your faith on me! Have you ever heard of a 'fanatical atheist'?! You should not be worried about my reaction!!

First define fanatical. I mean, most seem to be fanatical so I would probably be exactly the same.

I'm glad you don't mean that, because fanatic Christians on yahoo make me laugh uncontrollably, and that is rude.

No worries - unless you started trying to get your morality or religion enforced in civil law, or tried to have non-science taught as science.
