Of course he could. But it is his plan for most peple to burn in hell for all eternity, since he knew all along that most people would choose not to believe in him, yet he created us anyway.

God never created eternal torment in the first place.
Such a thing is entirely against his principles.
And, the ONE thing that God canNOT do,
is break his own principles!
For example, when the nation of Israel was apostate, they took to sacrificing their children, alive, as burnt offerings to pagan gods, & this shows how God feels about such things:
"...They built the high places of Ba′al that are in the valley of the son of Hin′nom, in order to make their sons and their daughters pass through [the fire] to Mo′lech, a thing that I did not command them, neither did it come up into my heart to do this DETESTABLE thing..." --Jeremiah 32:35
We are all given the choice, whetherv we want to submit to God's wise, righteous rulership, or, rebel against / ignore it.
However, the result of resisting is simply utter cessation of life, not eternal torment in some other realm.

The same reason he will let you into heaven. He is a just God. Would you want to be in heaven with someone who committed a sin and hadn't even acknowledge that it was wrong and turn from it. God doesn't expect perfection in you, if anyone says he doesn't sin, he is a liar. Furthermore, if you were worried, you can't lose your salvation. Just be sure you are saved.

He DID decide to just forgive us. The problem that most folks have is the requirement that we _accept_ that forgiveness.
The method of that acceptance is as follows:
1. Know in your heart that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God
2. Know that Jesus died and rose again from the dead
3. Accept Jesus as the Messiah, your _personal_savior
4. Tell others about it.
Once you accept Jesus as your savior, then you will be reserved from the eternal destruction of the coming end of days.
As for hell, IMO it is there to house the fallen angels..Lucifer (I think that is the correct name, but I'm not sure) and his followers.

God does not send people to hell. He prepared hell for the devil and his angels who knew God, were in heaven with God and rose up in rebellion against him posing a threat to those who would like to enjoy heaven and live there. Sin and rebellion will destroy heaven. Much like would you bring a rebellious angry person into your house (a murderer, a thief, rapist into your home and let them destroy your other children?) no you would not. Let's say hell is like San Quentin Prison.........it's where people go if they can't live in a heavenly society. The devil rules there so it's hell. What other Justice could there be if you won't do things God's way? You are asking God to take away free will if you want another option. He would have to magicaly MAKE you be good.

God only requires that you repent and amend your life, and He's happy to forgive you. You have to ask, He just doesn't do it without an acknowledgment that you realize that you've sinned. He does not want you to go to hell, but if you choose it, then your free-will will ensure it.

He doesn't send you to Hell - people choose to go there.
There are two types of people - those that say to God "Thy will be done" and those that don't.
Those that do His will go to spend eternity with God.
Those that do not, God ends up saying to them "Thy will be done" and they are forever removed from His presence.
Saying God sends people to Hell is akin to saying Dentists give people cavities. Dentists tell you how to prevent getting cavities. If you don't listen to them, you end up getting one. Does that mean the dentist has no mercy? Does that mean the dentist is evil? No, it is the patient that ignored the warnings. It is the patient that refused to heed the dentist's advice. Why does the patient then blame the dentist?

i think in God, yet i do no longer think in Hell. God is meant to be loving and forgiving, and if that's genuine, he might on no account deliver us to go through an eternal punishment. Jesus replaced right into a guy or woman who taught forgiveness and whether you're Christian or no longer, this is a few thing we ought to consistently all stay via. no one is optimal. If God created us, and knows us all so properly, he knows that and he forgives us while we make blunders. i think that there are some particularly evil human beings in this worldwide, yet i think that each and each evil guy or woman has a minimum of a tiny little bit of reliable in them, even whether it remains hidden. interior an identical way, i think that each and each reliable guy or woman has some undesirable in them. in accordance to the bible, there are various assets you may circulate to Hell for, one occasion is suicide. maximum (if no longer all) people who dedicate suicide have a severe psychological ailment in the different case their lives are so terrible that they see no benefit to residing. Why ought to somebody who has suffered so rather lots in existence, be made to go through interior the afterlife? ought to that guy or woman no longer be allowed peace after each little thing they have long previous via? A loving God might evaluate no longer something yet to furnish that guy or woman peace. possibly in heaven we are given a huge gamble to be taught the blunders we made in existence and to redeem our selves. possibly that's while we are able to be taught to stay via in basic terms the reliable in ourselves and to perpetually banish the "undesirable". Does it no longer seem greater probably that an all-understanding, loving God might desire to coach us and help us extremely than punish us?

You have to question whether Hell was just a place to frighten people with during times when there wasn't a police force or prison system.
