I am not a native English speaker and I don't know what 2t stands for in a recipe.

A small "t" means teaspoon and a Large "T" means tablespoon. Sometimes you will see teaspoon as "tsp" or tablespoon as "tbsp".

Seriously? 2t in a recipe means 2 teaspoons. A capial T would indicate a tablespoon.

it means 2 teaspoons. if it said 2T it would be 2 tablespoons.

2T means two tablespoons
upper and lower case mean two different things
Also, there are THREE teaspoons in a tablespoon, NOT TWO!
