my doctor told me tha milk and alcohol breaks down to carbohidrates. which has more carbohidrates?
is it the same to drink a glass of milk than to drink shot of jack daniels carbohidrates wise?. i guess the amount of carbohidrates will be calculated by the volume of alcohol. does anyone know the proces or formula to do this calculation and /or how does it works?

Here you go (CHO = carbohydrate):

8 oz glass whole milk - 4.52 g CHO/100 g x 244g/8 oz = 138 g CHO
1 oz Jack Daniels (or other distilled spirit) - 2.41 g CHO/100g x 28 g/1 oz = 34 g CHO
4 oz apple juice - 11.54 g CHO/100g x 124 g/4 oz = 358 g CHO

So a single shot of Jack Daniels would have about 1/3 the carbs of an 8 oz glass of milk.

But a drink consisting of 1 oz alcohol and 4 oz juice would have close to 3x the amount of CHO as a glass of milk.
(Feel free to check the sites and the numbers and do your own math. This is a quick ball park.)

Carbohydrates are nothing more than molecules of carbon and hydrogen combined with nothing else. Add nitrogen and you get proteins. The body uses more or less complex CH compounds to provide fuel for running the body, breaking down the complex ones to simple sugars which are carried off in the blood stream. Whateven an Apple Martini contains, its primary CH's are going to be fairly simple sugars and alcohol and it has almost no protein and no fat. Milk almost certainly has more CH's per ounce and more complex ones as well as protein and fat.
Getting the exact information will require knowing the fat percent of the milk and the proof of the other one with any carbs from the Apple Jack if that is what is used. It is a fairly useless exercise as neither one will have much effect on your dietary intake unless you love milk as I do or are an alcoholic.
