Virginia Leaf, or Golden Virginia, is a bit of a give away. Zimbabwe or Rhodesia used to be a major grower and exporter. Malawi, Turkey, Caribbean Basin Initiative (CBI) countries including Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador,Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, St. Christopher-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Panama, and Guyana.

The International Tobacco Growers Association member countries -

Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, the Dominican Republic, India, Italy, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Portugal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, the U.S.A., Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Cuba probably then american tobacco buy from them for a pittance ...............if you saw the cigar factories in cuba you probably would not smoke..................real sweat shops ........i saw them when i visited
