there are a few ways to do this.
1. Highlight the entire column then Find the AUTO SUM button. It will look like a capital E that is diagonal in the middle.
2. This is the long way. You can type in each cell number followed by a + sign for the entire column.
3. Or you can just type the following code into the Fuction bar at the top of the work window. =SUM(A1:A12) Where you see A1:A12 just put in your cell number for the first cell and the last cell.
Hope this helps you out.

In Excel, you can either use the auto sum icon (located at the top ) or use the SUM formula. If using auto sum, just choose the next blank cell below your column of numbers and click it, then press the enter key.
The SUM formula will look exactly the same as what the auto sum did. Just click on the cell that you used the auto sum on. You would manually type out your SUM formula the exact same way.
Hope this helps!

In Excel, you use the "Sum" function.
If you wanted to add the column for B1 to B25, you would put in the cell where you the sum the formula: =Sum(B1:B25)
Or
If you look in the toolbar, there is a "Sum" button (looks like a a Greek E". You can go the cell where you want the Sum and then click on the Sun Button. You will then be able to highlight the column (or row) you want to sum. It will automatically insert the Sum formula for that area in that cell.
