How did you tell your mother when you got the blood under there?

Just tell her... say "mum, I've just started my period." When you go to say it you will probably be embarassed but she will understand!
I think I probably just told my mum that I had a really sore belly and she probably guessed what it was!
Keeping it simple is the best idea...she was in exactly the same position as you when she was your age! She'll probably feel proud that her little girl is grown up!

Firstly, by saying GIRLS ONLY you'll attract boys. It's human nature.
Secondly, congratulations on becoming a woman. I know it's corny, but it's like a rite of passage for someone to say that to you.
If you've had an open dialogue with your mom about these kinds of things there should be no problem. You can subtly drop a hint about buying some pads and if sh eis perceptive she'll get it.
Otherwise, if you two are alone in the house, you can crack a joke by running to the door, opening it, and saying loudly that Aunt Dot has arrived. ( Aunt Dot is a common way of saying your period. )
Personally, I had been getting faint stains for about a week before so she knew it was coming by seeing my underwear in the wash. I was a tad nervous but I told her and she took me out for ice cream.

Just tell her that you have started your menstrual cycle. She will get you something. Mothers have been taking care of their daughters for centuries. Yours will take care of you too. She went through it before, so she understands.

well me. I just yelled and she came runnin in and Im like mom. i think i got it. lol. and She got the point.
Moms have a werid way of knowing everythign about you.. They have done it for years and years and will always be there to help. Just talk to her about it.

I just told her that I needed some pads...she got the idea. We were really open though. It's best just to get it out in the open and talk about it. :)
