Alhamdulillah I choose to wear the Niqaab (please note my question is not refering to whether you deem to believe if it is fardh or not)
Recently I have been having doubts!! I know the devil attacks more to those who try and practise, is there any way or anything I can recite to get rid of these thoughts??

alhamdullilah that you have chosen to do so. congratz on that!!
everytime the thoughts approach your mind, seek for Allah protection and tell yourself you are changing for the better. recite quran or any short verses that you remember. do sunnah prayer, taubah prayer and clear your thoughts. meditation should help too. as you are new, you'll have to be very patient and try to resist temptation. insha-allah, allah will help you through with this. the key is, to seek for Allah protection as you know you are doing the right thing as commands by Him.
and for addition, i've come across some great article on some of our sisters journey when they choose to wear hijab. hope you'll love it! (i'm sure you will)

From a different perspective-- Thoughts from another perspective-- If the Muslim community really would like to enhance better understanding of Muslim and to improve the image of Muslim as a religion, they would not be so stupid to go against the will of most Americans, especially the families of 9/11 victims. Another point, any large development is subject to environmental impact study, zoning requirement, as well as public hearing. Churches and Mosques (a.k.a. Muslim Community Center) are no exception. This project was able to be approved by the New York City Government has everything to do with the city’s desire for political correctness. If this were a French Cultural Center or a K-Mart, it would never be approved.

Asalamu alaikum sister,
I do not wear niqab and I commend you for wearing it, mashallah. The best I can say is read the Qur'an in the morning with fajr and when ever you can.
Also go back and reflect on the Qur'an and reflect on the reasons you have made a choice to wear niqab. Look and search for the reasons others have chosen to wear it or take it off. You are beautiful inside and out and you are human. We have a right to our emotions. We just have to find ways to control them.
Just look inside yourself and ask the questions that you may not want to ask yourself. But always remember Allah subhana wa ta'ala in everything you do. I don't have to tell you sister but he is watching and knows what is in your heart. So be honest with yourself. You are beautiful with niqaab or without.
And just let those whom seek to make life hard for you roll of your back. I once saw a niqaabi in the store and I could see her smile at me so hard it shined through her thick black niqaab.
I love you sister.
Wa'salam

The ones that I know is :
1. recite always the verse of the Thrones. (Al-Baqarah:255)
002.255 Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).
Al-Qur'an, 002.255 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])
Also referred to as "Ayat-ul-Kursi"
2. Recite always the Protecting Surah (Al-Falaq & An-Nas)
There is another but I can't seem to remember it right now. The one address specifically to the problem at hand, originally address to the reciter of the Quran. Maybe other brothers or sister can supply that particular verse... I hope.

Salaam Alaykum,
I admire you because I have a closet full of Abayas and a drawer full of hijabs. Three or four Niqaab one full screen and to my eyes. I rarely wear my hijab except for salat and the Masjid. Don't listen to anybody. Nobody can judge you except The One True Judge. Allah SWT. You are showing more Iman than most and please don't freak out. If you are a true believer and you seem to be shaytan will only attack you
if you let him. Announce your belief and recite a uzhu Billahi minash shaytanir rajim. I take refuge in Allah from the accursed satan.
Wasalaam

I myself have been in this situation before. People made rude comments and whenever I went out, people looked at me and laughed so I wanted to take it off (my niqab.) I remember going shopping one time, and coming home crying because 3 teenage girls walking in front of me kept turning around and whispering stuff about me to one another.
Here is a trick: It's a good idea to read Surah Yaseen every morning right after Fajr prayer and Inshallah Allah will make your day easier for you (trust me, it works!) Anytime you feel like you are in danger, read Ayatal Kursi. Just remind yourself that you are doing it for Allah, it's not fard anyways, you are doing it out of your own choice.
Walk with confidence (but not pride) and make it clear that you are comfortable with what you are doing and who you are. You really have to justify yourself as an intelligent woman to some of these close-minded people. They assume that just because you are wearing niqab you don't know English, are not born and raised in the west and that your husband's or father's forced you to wear it. Prove them wrong!
Good luck sis!
=)

It is healthy to question all the things around you. It exercises and strengthens the mind. Thoughts are not necessarily evil on their own; it's how you process those thoughts and make decisions.
By all means choose right from wrong, but do it wisely. And satan does not exist.
