As u say ur daughter is a grown up now. She is able to make her own decisions and u should let her. Make ur daughter aware that if she intends on keep in touch with her father that u will be watching very carefully. Let her know that she could be putting her own daughters at risk. At the end of the day he is her father.Be there for her and ur grandaughters. They may need you in the future.

She is probably blocking it out. Sometimes it takes years to come up if ever. If she isn't getting help for the problem she needs to. I'm sorry that you are so worried about this, I would be too. Yet, there isn't much you can do. I was molested too and it took years of counseling and a lot of hard work on my part to heal. I just hope she doesn't leave her children with him! He is the scum of the earth and will strike again if given the chance. I would do some research and give her a print out of some of the things you found on line about molester's and how history repeats itself. Most molesters do not get help nor get better. I think if you give her something to think about before she goes she will be better prepared. Good luck to you and bless you.

I think you need to remind her that child molesters don't change, and she should make sure he's not alone with her children.

However a 23yr old woman with 3 children(where is her husband btw??), is most definitely a grown-up and this is her choice.

Its not about you, let her make her own choices and suffer the consequences.

She's 23 so it's out of your hands. Her decisions are her own. The only thing to do is to make sure the father stays the hell away from his grandchildren.

She's a grown woman now. If she thinks he did these things to her then hopefully she'll keep the children close by. There really is not much you can do about it now.

You are just going to have to let your daughter learn on her own.Tell her that if she decides to do that, then she needs to make ABSOLUTELY certain that her children&she herself will be protected from him&NEVER alone with him.
