To interpret anything objectively, one must be detached from any other influences be it religious or political. They should be unbaised and only approach the subject matter as an object.
When the responder is in a different faith and close-minded,the result is expected and will be subjective.

Obviously many responders so far do have predetermined attitudes, stereotypes and therefore are not eligible or scientifcally "fit' to give your question an answer.

sorry, this is more of a comment, not an answer as am still searching and reading the subject myself so I can answer similar questions later.

Just a quick note, The_Criket VT,mentioned that Quran has "translations",that is not correct.
Quran has no translations,I mean versions,I guess she misunderstood it . Translating a book to many languages still mean the book is one version,it says the same thing but in a differnt language. This is not the same as having different versions (the bible) where content itself is different and varying.
This said,in Islam, all translated copies of Quran are not called or considered "Quran",because Quran is only the one that is written in Arabic. So a non-muslim can touch a translated copy, but not the original book written in Arabic.
To sum up,there is only one original Quran but lots of original copies of the bible.

“he found it setting in a muddy spring…” means that he saw the sun as if it were setting in the ocean. This is something that everyone who goes to the coast or beach can see: it looks as if the sun is setting into the sea, but in fact it never leaves its path in which it is fixed.

The same metaphor is found in the bible:

In the New Testament, Jesus is reported to have said about the Queen of Sheba that she came from the ends of the earth (Matthew 12:42; Luke 11:31).

Of course she did not come from the ends of earth(it is just the methaforical meaning)

Meryem, thank you for the link,I found this link about The Seas and Rivers pretty interesting and informative

Most people are convinced that the are right, whether they are atheists, agnostics or from the many different religions or faiths that there are. Of course, there are many people who have researched and understand other religions or beliefs. There are also many who never bother and are not interested in learning about anything which doesn't match their own belief. I completely understand why people reach the conclusions they have about their belief or non-belief. My beliefs are strong. I too am convinced that my faith is the truth, however I respect that other people have come to a very different conclusion. I also understand they feel the same way as I do. At the end of our lives, only one belief will be right, everyone else will have got it wrong. This is one thing that we can be sure about. Until we die, we cannot prove who is right. How can anyone ever convince everyone what the truth is, when there are so many options? It's an impossible question to resolve. How did I do it? I researched greatly. Asked loads of questioned and prayed. I seeked God with all of my heart and believe that I have found him. God bless.

Two problems:

1. The Qur'an is chock full of scientific inaccuracies.
Women do not have "sperm" and it is not yellow.
Sperm does not come from the spinal cord.
The sun does not set in a muddy pool.
2. The Qur'an has many different translations. It's been translated into at least 102 languages, and I have two different VERSIONS in English, translated by two different people.
Thus, the Qur'an does have versions, same as any other holy book.

If 20% hasn't been verified yet then it's not 100% correct. Why would you allow a book that isn't !00% right dictate the actions of your life? Why would you allow a BOOK to dictate your actions?

Okay, show the true bits... give me quotes, links... anything. And I want it scientific, no literary allusions, and remeber, you did promise 80% is true. How about we start with just 10 facts that are verified. Shouldn't be hard.

It does not contain scientific proof unless you really interpret it to extremes. I could probably argue scientific proofs in Lord of the Rings if I interpret it well enough.

What is the thing that is correct in that book? Is it even signed by its author?

How can we just believe and let these books direct our lives? JUST LIKE THAT?!

Muslims are not murdering infidels, that is a cheap propaganda fed to ignorant so the evil people achieve their hidden agenda.
When you say muslims, you are referring to 1 billion and half people of all nationlities and ethnicities,so are you saying that 1.5 billion muslims are murdering infidels, perhaps you wouldnt survive it to post your stupic comment here,Jakero Evigh

Here is why some muslims reacted violently(it's mere politics not religion)

Saying something is "scintifical" does not make it so.
