we applied a formula for some consequent rows, and inbetween we added some extra rows, then will the same formula will be applied automatically, if not tell the way how to get it done automatically

i dont want to copy it and i dont want to drag it. it should automatically come

You just need to copy the formulas in the above rows, simply copy paste or by dragging the auto fill.

Highlight the last row above (with the formula in) and all the added rows, go to "Edit, fill down". It should copy the formula and change the cell references.

if 2003 or better then just simply insert a row - right click on the row header where you want the new row - then in your formula you will see a little box , click on it and have the formula include adjacent cells - this will only work on simple calculations

without 'doing anything' you will need to write a custom excel function using the 'visual basic for applications' programming language that excel uses for macros that will enter the formula when it senses a new row has been inserted since there is no feature of excel that will do this automatically for you.
