Hodori the friendly tiger. He was the mascot of the 1988 Seoul Olympics and quite a character.
If you are talking about characteristics... I have often heard Koreans referred to as the Irish of Asia. Hard drinking and quick to temper, but really warm and good people. Perhaps the Irish are actually the Koreans of Asia.
One other thing I have noticed about Koreans is that they are activity people. If there is an activity going on they seem able to last on very little sleep, but if there is nothing going on they can sleep the day away. They can even cat nap at a moments notice and be fully alert in split second. It is a strange phenomenon that I have always wished I could emulate.

in the beginning, Korean characters are a hundred% distinctive from chinese language characters. this is like asking if English human beings can study Arabic. Korean writing gadget (hangul) is consistent with an alphabet like writing, mutually as chinese language does not have any "alphabet". mutually as Korean did use chinese language characters interior the previous (talked approximately as hanja), that's now no longer used. So the answer to that query is a reliable no. As for jap, the respond remains no. jap has 3 writing structures: Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. Hiragana and Katakana are used for pronunciation, and each and each image in the two one in each of them shows a phoneme. chinese language human beings can on no account study Hiragana or Katakana, as that's a different "alphabet". Kanji is chinese language characters, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's just to point a definite verb, adjective or noun, and are not utilized in grammar. mutually as jap imports chinese language characters, their usages in jap in many cases fluctuate from those utilized in time-honored chinese language (playback velocity- jap: ????, chinese language: ????). besides, some Kanji are unique to jap, and are not recent in chinese language in any respect. The chinese language can likely study some kanji right here and there, yet they nonetheless would be no longer able to comprehend jap. So why does Japan use chinese language characters? even however jap is a linguistically diverse language from chinese language, the jap had to import their writing gadget from China. earlier, that they had no writing gadget. Even the Hiragana and Katakana structures are based off a heavily corrupted version of chinese language characters and radicals.
