Shipping Everclear?

Question

Does anyone know of an online store that ships Everclear within the US?

Also, I want to get 2 bottles shipped to the UK ... is this legal and are there any special procedures to do it? Plus, do you know any online store that will ship Everclear abroad?

Beer and alcohol fall under the jurisdiction of the ATF and the specifics regarding the shipping of beer and alcohol vary greatly from state to state, and moreso country to country. In some cases it is legal, in others it is not. USPS has a pretty clear policy against the shipping of any alcohol whatsoever though.

Can you ship Everclear? Yes you can, but if your package breaks then you're going to be SOL. There's a very big "underground" of beer traders and it's common practice to double box your beer, claim the contents as collectibles or vinegar, and to ship via UPS/DHL/FedEx using an online account. People do this everyday with very few questions asked. You still run the risk of getting caught, but in most cases they'll just toss your package and not allow you to make a claim on it; I've even heard of instances when people have received boxes that were supposed to contain beer only to find that the contents have been swapped in transit.

You'll be taking a risk but in my experience that risk is low. I think your best bet is to find a person that will ship you bottles since I highly doubt any store is going to carry Everclear since it isn't really I highly sought after item.

According to the USPS, you cannot ship alcohol.

Back in the day, people used to put it in Scope bottles. Don't try it now.
