I am especially talking about the movies which some religious people protested against.

Thank you for your answer :-)

I'm not sure specifically which movies you mean - maybe Water? Or the recent crime drama from Sri Lanka? Any way, the reason people get so upset is because they know their own beliefs are weak and cannot stand being closely examined or questioned. It is important to question everything, even religion. The more violently people fight against the message, the more important it probably is.

Blasphemous Movies

The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston as a 30 year old Moses saving Israel.
That movie was a huge disservice to Christianity and to Judaism and likely did more to make people into atheists than all the other anti-religion movies combined.

(The Bible descibes Moses as old and decrepit with a speech impediment.)

I saw this.... adult movie, that took place in a monastery... with loads of nuns, a few priests... and other....things. Looked pretty blasphemous, and entertaining in a 70's german porn... like watching a train wreck in slowmotion - way.

Made me want to protest, and I like porn... and blasphemy. Does that count? Can't remeber the name tho, it's been a few years.

EDIT
------
bajingo.... possibly not "the devils"... it was a bit more... explicit (as in extreme hardcore porn). But I think I know now where they got the ideas for it.

Tetsuno1, that sounds like "The Devils" by Ken Russell.

It was based upon real events...

Fire. I liked it despite some plot weirdnesses. Big to-do over nothing.

Off the top of my head, I'd have to say
"The Last Temptation of Christ"
which attempted to portray Christ as a masochist.

Depends if you have a concept of blasphemy, which I don't. I believe in freedom of speech, even if you want to use it against me. And if I can take it, any god can.
