I don't know how to flirt and can never tell when someone is either flirting with me or just talking.

Who says flirting has to be sexual? Show interest in her, ask her opinions...and listen to what she says. Look her in the eyes and NOT in her cleavage. If she isn't naturally a touchy-feely person...don't touch her even lightly. You should be able to tell by her body language what her personal-space tolerance is...if SHE touches you lightly on the arm when she makes a point, then maybe do so. But smile and show general ibnterest and talk WITH her not AT her...and you should do well enough. But being sleazy, unwarranted touching, and dirty jokes or innuendo isn't going to get you anywhere if you like the girl you are trying to flirt with. Good luck.

Flirting can be a range of things, and it definitely doesn't have to be corny to be sweet. If you are flirting with someone and you're thinking its too sexual, it probably is. Try some simpler things that compliment a person, instead of sounding like your trying to rape them with your words... =)
Flirting can come quite naturally if your comfortable with the person, and it shouldn't be too hard if you find things that you could actually compliment, so that you are no completely lying...

Be nice and compliment them they seem to like that. Tell them they look pretty be normal. If they seem to be straying away from conversation try telling a witty joke. If that doesn't work then move on. But be nice compliment them oh and don't tell them your jobless and have no money. A white lie is always a ok thing as long as you keep it simple and small. Something they won't ever ask about again. Ask them their favorite music ask them questions that are simple yet right to the point.

Just make eye contact and talk about things outside of sex. Don't make sexual gestures or innuedos. A smile is not overrated.

Just be the natural you, show them your sincere actions and be comfortable with what you are saying..........just by being sweet to them, you will register an impressive personality already without trying very hard....you can add humor too, not the corny or blunt ones,,,,,,,,,,but nice ,pleasant humor............I guess for me, I get attracted more with the man's wits, his intelligence, his achievements, his sincerity in all what he does and his humor................and a big bonus if he is handsome too...........................

Try movie style, hire a friend, who will misbehave the girl. Then you come out a help the girl, beat your friend in front of her. She will melt upon you. OK.
