I wish i had the answer to that as well, because it happens to me. Maybe it's because you are too nice & you don't voice out your opinion, especially when you know something is wrong. I believe you should learn to stand up for yourself.

Because you let them. People do not respect anyone who just lets people walk all over them. It is great to want to do things for people-but it is way more attractive to put your foot down and stand up for yourself.

Friendly/nice people tend to be doormats. Stop being a doormat and stand up for yourself.

People can only do to you what you allow them to do. Quite letting them use you. You will soon find out that they are not really your friends but just leeches!!!
