Based on what I've read about the issue it is said that Glucosamine with Chondritin works the best at trying to help with painful joints such as in arthritis.

I don't know how long you have had painful joints for but I would recommend asking your primary care doctor for a referral (if required by your insurance company) to a rheumatologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of the joints such as arthritis) to have them evaluate things further to see if arthritis is playing in to this if you haven't already before trying anything.

Nothing, if you are having joint pain then you need to find a reason, so see a Doc. Once you have a reason and it could be many things, then come back and ask the question. No point in taking glucosamine is you have Lupus!
