I would save the other person regardless if they were saved or not.

Obviously I would save the unsaved person from the train, since the saved person no longer needs saving and is therefore in no danger of being run over.

Why would I want to save a person who is already saved? That doesn't make any sense. If one person is in danger and one is not in danger then you obviously help the one in danger. Sheesh. I think you need to go to bed.

even though you save a person and die it wont matter because you did the right thing at the right time. Giving away your life and saving another's is one of the heroic things you can do. Our world is not designed to do that and people mostly care only about themselves. A true hearted person would be the one who saves a person and kills himself.

Throw the knife strategically at the rail, derail the train and save the person.
