my friends said even if you skip your meal 1 time it wouldn't effect your weight if you like to eat snack like potato chips and peanuts. For note, I don't eat sweet things like chocolate although I eat bitter chocolate.

What makes you fat is the total number of calories you eat in a day, not when you eat those calories. You could eat several times a day if it was foods with low calories. The foods you mention all have high calories. Go to Source below and you can look up the calories for many food items. (Scroll down the page.)

Lack of physical activity makes you fat - regardless of your food habits. Unless you are building and maintaining muscle, your fat percentage will increase.

yes it does. even the ones that says "FAT FREE". by fat free they mean that they havent used any fat for cooking but that doesnt mean theres no calories. all of the snacks are rich with calories. as you know calories convert into fat inside our body.
