My husband is a complete jerk when it comes to having any caring, concern, or understanding regarding my being pregnant. He thinks it is an "excuse" I use to act like a "B****".
I Love being pregnant. I just wish my husband would ALLOW me to enjoy it instead of acting like I should be HIS personal housekeeper and whipping post. I have had minor complications with this pregnancy and instead of being supportive he acts like the doctor said "she is wonderwoman" and can do EVERYTHING herself. Don't bother helping or being nice. After all YOU are the MAN! I just really need him to get some kind of clue and putting an empathy belly on him seems like the only way I MIGHT get SOME positive results.

If he is that much of a jerk a fake belly won't help, and unless you have money to throw away, I can see how that would just give him something else to gripe about (you wasting $$ on that when there will be so many other expenses for baby.)

My ex was like that--it won't change. You might want to take the funds you were planning to invest in the fake belly and put that with some more $$ and check into divorce attorneys. I predict that sooner or later you are going to need one.

That will not help, because if he's being a jerk, he's going to laugh and won't wear it. Just stop doing things that are difficult for you to do- don't lift heavy objects, don't bend over if it makes nauseated, and just take it easy. If he doesn't get the hint and start cleaning up, you have a big problem.

LOL! I know what you are saying. My husband forgets that my body is constantly changing and I can't do everything I used to immediately. He's been better lately and actually listening to me. I would love to put a belly on him for a day. I also used to tease that I would want him to have my all-day sickness I had in the 1st trimester for one day. He would really learn to appreciate what I was going through and I still managed to work, clean house, take care of our daughter, etc., while feeling nauseous. Good luck!
