Translate these simple proverbs?
Just want to see if I'm right

'In seeking great happiness small pleasures may be lost.’

‘A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.’"

‘He who is afraid of the leaves must not go into the forest.’

‘Beneath a stone no water flows.

1. You miss the little things in life when you only focus on the big picture.

2. Having whatever, material goods is "worth" more than having to go get it still...

3. Don't go places where your bound to run into things you don't like...

3. Water flows around a stone and doesn't budge it and flow beneath it...

You have to make some adjustments in life

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.’"
Be content with what you have.

He who is afraid of the leaves must not go into the forest.’
one must be brave to take risks.

Beneath a stone no water flows
if you do not move (work) then there will be no movement (improvement to your life)

In looking for the "big win" or the "big picture" you will overlook small things that can give you great joy.

What you have is worth more than what you might have, even if what you have is less...you still have it "in hand."

Leaves form the bottom of the forest floor. If you cannot wade through everyday problems, you should not be where you are (?)

Don't bury yourself! You won't get any fresh ideas.

Usually, they translate to completely different words, at least from Spanish to English.

Like: En boca cerrada, no entran moscas - literally, Flies don´t enter a closed mouth. Figuratively, Silence is Golden.
