There are always inspections and while they may not impact you directly they will have an impact on your husband and his time. Most are confined to his work place and job as well as the performance of his duties which may require him putting in some extra time to help himself and section and co-workers better prepare for and tighten up any of those lose ends. Some inspections are base wide some are not. There are also inspections particular to specific jobs and areas that others may not have either.
If you are asking in relation to your quarters or on base housing yes there are even inspections for that and while they don't generally enter the home they do inspect the grounds and area around it and prior to you moving out they inspect that housing and it must be clean and free of any damage other than that caused by normal wear and tear for the next person to move into after you leave.

Since you've been asking so many questions about Korea, I assume you're still talking about Korea. Here's the deal:
You're husband is probably on an unaccompanied tour. But you plan on going with him and living on the economy. If this is the case, your husband will still be required to maintain a space in the barracks and therefore, still stand inspection when there is one.
If you are not authorized to be there, why should he get out of doing what the other Soldiers must do, just because you're not following the guidelines?

You mean like do they go through your house? They can but have to notify the housing rep and they go through as well, it is called a health and welfare, this is for on post, off post, no they do not. BUT when a dagger was lost they went through all the houses, mostly because we allowed them to, I mean you could not really say no.....
But generally they do not go through housing on post unless the MPs are involved
If you live off post, the only way they can is if you let them.... but that might affect your spouse who is in the military

CAM, hahaha thats funny! because if there were an inspection in my home, Sgt. would be the one doing it! everything in his closet is organized by color, short sleeve to long and so on.. shoes are running then walking, dress, boots, so on.. the dvd's in the house are done by category, then alphabetized! he keeps everything so so. i keep him out of my closet!

it depends on if you love on or off post if your on post then yes your leaders will drive by to make sure it's clean and may stop by "to do something" and look in. They are much less formal than when you live in barracks.
