Okay, here's my situation.
I was born in England to American parents, so I have a dual citizenship.
In order to do ROTC and LTC (Leader's Training Course) over the summer, I have to drop my UK citizenship and go to purely an American citizenship.
How do I do this? Do I just have to write a letter to my cadre or should I contact the British Embassy in DC, or do I contact someone in the Army to denounce my other citizenship?

I'm probably going to enlist pretty soon, and LTC is for people who are enlisted. It's not just an ROTC thing...

British nationality can be renounced by a declaration made to the Home Secretary. You will cease to be a British national on the date that the declaration of renunciation is registered.

Contact the British Embassy in DC for more information:

3100 Massachusetts Avenue,
Washington DC, 20008

Tel: (202) 588 7800

Fax: (202) 588 7850

Just a quick question.....
ROTC is a volunteer organization that teaches you about the US military without requiring you to enlist. It is an extra-curricular class or group common in high schools or colleges. Why would you have to drop your citizenship to participate?
I just don't understand why you would have to denounce your UK citizenship if you are recognized as a US citizen.

definite guy! yet dude why you prefer to try this? Thats no longer outstanding! although in case you born right here in US your mothers and fathers of family individuals have been born there so once you're saying that its like in case you're embarrassed of your man or woman family individuals. we could think of which you devote a criminal offense right here in US you already produce different citizenship the place you may run away to that united states of america and stay like no longer something happens

Renounce your UK citizenship by sending a formal letter to the UK Embassy.
