Single Soldiers live in barracks, which are basically dormitories.
Most barracks today have either one, or two Soldiers to a room with a latrine in every room.
On some posts the barracks have a latrine which is shared by two rooms, with a locking door on each side of the shower/toilet room so you can't go into your neighbor's room unless they leave the door open.
Also there's usually a dayroom with a large TV, pool Table and couches on each floor of the building.

enlisted guys who are not married live on base in barracks (big brick buildings that lack a womens touch to be polite), officers and married men typically live either in base housing (typically either condos or small homes) or out in the town.

in their own apartments, depending on their rank...usually e-5 (sergeant) and above can live in their own quarters, or in their barracks with other soliders...usually they each have their own bedroom and share some common living spaces like a kitchen with one or 2 others.
