That would be determined by genes. Do male family members have a hairy chest? If so there's hope. If not; then don't count on it. But don't despair, a lot of women prefer hairless chests!!

Hair On The Chest Is Determined By Heredity ONLY. If EITHER Of Your Grandfathers Have/Had Chest Hair OR Your Father Has Chest Hair You MAY Get It Too BUT, It May Not Grow In For Years (Decades) I Started Growing Chest Hair After I Was 30. Before That - ZILCH! Just A Few Stray Strands. HOWEVER, Now I'm Getting Hair On My BACK!! YIKES!!

Go buy some foaming rogaine I'm not sure if that even works but I don't know how much money you want to spend on this if so I know a really good product that makes your hair grow faster. It's called nioxin I recommend the foaming treatment and apply to the needed area my dad swears it grows more when you put it on I don't know how he gets it from his head to his back and chest but he's been using it on his head and it really does work! You should notice a difference in two to three weeks the product is guaranteed so if it doesn't work send it back and get your money's worth :) I haven't seen it not work yet :) NIOXIN is a cosmetology grade product rogaine is not so it's probably not very strong.

Depends on your age and hormone (testosterone) levels for which your genes are partially responsible!! I'm 22 and still trying to grow facial hair. Keep shaving your chest from time to time, for a little while. It might work as it might not. But I'm guessing the process can be quite itchy.

Good healthy hair starts with good internal health. Have you ever noticed people that look really healthy have nice shiny full heads of hair? It not only applies to hair on your head but body hair as well.
If I were you I would go into your local guru in wholistic medicine and see what natural supplement the can offer for robust hair growth. I’ve had success with a product called Provillus also.

I don't know how old you are, but if you are like 17 you might just have to wait a few more years. Guys don't finish puberty until their early 20s sometimes. Also, looking at your name, it could be because of salt water. I've heard/read before that surfers tend to have less hair that other guys because consistently being in salt water somehow prevents it from growing.

I dont like hair personally but what does help is shaving the hair that is there. After a period of shaving, you'll notice the hair comes back thicker and grows faster as well. It happened to my brother who now looks a bit like Austin Powers with the amount on his chest....
