My brother has cancer and it starting chemo and isn't able to work. I'm looking for organizations that will help with the cost of living. I'm already doing SSI benefits but we don't think that he will qualify. We live in Missouri if that helps. Thanks

Social workers in medical settings know about stuff like this. Check where he is getting treatment if there is a social worker there. Hospitals, home health agencies and hospices all have medical social workers. Very helpful people.

Except for state aid maybe or disability there is nothing else that will pay. Did he have disability insurance where he worked or via AFLAC? If he did then they will pay.
