At times i still struggle with my old ways, my old sinful nature. At times when i skip christian meetings due to heavy work i stumble. i feel like a hypocrite.
What do you feel about a person like me who talks about God at some times and then does things that are bad in his eyes.

I can do it by myself now because i know what righteousness is. Before i knew who God is i was blinded and had no idea what is good and bad. But the main issue here is the fight against satan. We can be righteous on our own and w/o God but that is what satan wants, he wants us to think we can live independantly w/o God's help, its amazing i had this thought for last couple of days

i have seen many people suggest that , i dont have to follow a religion to be happy. It is true that today there are people who are happy without a religion. But there are some questions that need answers and such answers can come from our Creator only.
like, questions about life. Where do we all go after death.
Is this life all that is, we live grow old and cease to exist.
It adds a lot of emptiness to everyone when we think about life coming to an end.
today we are talking about all these things and after 100 years,,??????
Do you accept that it is normal to simple cease to exist,, i am afraid of this,,,and curious to know what life is about and with a honest mind when you seek for questions till you get satisfying answers you will know who God is , the Creator , your will know him personally by his name.

How YOU feel is the important thing, as your mind and heart is how you connect to God. If you feel like a hypocrite, then you need to take steps to remedy the breach in your spirituality that you have created by your return to wrong action.
We all have weaknesses that we are trying to overcome, through faith and love of God. First of all, stop condemning yourself. Guilt is like the person who is lukewarm... sitting on the fence. Are you of light or darkness? Somewhere in between is a kind of torment... to-ing and fro-ing in between.
So give up your guilt. Give up your self-condemnation, and accept God's love for you, and Christ's Atoning sacrifice. Make efforts not to wound Christ again. As you grow in love for and faith in Christ, you will have the power to overcome your weaknesses.
Make changes so you can be spiritually fed every DAY (not just weekly) as this can keep you strong. Try to arrange your life so you can attend meetings every week, and be edified.
I think you need to talk about God (and spiritual things) much more than you do. The more you think and talk about spiritual values, truth, etc... the more desire you have to live a Christ-like life.
The First Principles of the Gospel
(1) FAITH in the Lord, Jesus Christ
(2) Repentance of sins
Note: Faith comes first.
When you cease to condemn yourself, you will also begin to be the kind of person who does not judge other people. The two go hand in hand... that is why Jesus told us not to judge. If you are judgmental, you will also be that way towards yourself.
Condemnation helps no-one. Go your way and sin no more.
Be blessed. Your life: You receive what you give out.

Life is a class room where you learn by experience, all things that appear bad or good have other effects on life. Every little thing you do can effect some one else a thousand years into the future. Life is not about justice but learning how to become part of every thing. Don't expect people to like you just because you like them, relationships with people are like a jigsaw puzzle all the pieces have to fit together. For two people to just like each other there is hundreds of combinations that have to be right include pheromones that you have no control over. This is why some times some one looks great but when you get close to them you feel uncomfortable, your body rejects them as not suitable for you. They fit what you have been programmed to see as beautiful but brain chemicals say no way, this is not fitting in, reject! If a person does not like you it is not always your fault if there are complications forget it.

All heaven rejoiced whey you said Yes to God. We Born Again Believers were all once sinners save by the Grace of God. And my friend, we will all still struggle with the flesh. As the Apostle Paul said, The things I am suppose to do, I don't do, and the things I'm not suppose to do I do. Paul was talking about the struggle between flesh and Spirit. We wil always have this struggle in our lives.
The company we keep, the Christian friends, fellowship, with they play in our live is a vital role as a reminder of who we are in Christ. Many Christians need to work and can't help when they skip meetings. It will help if you can remember no matter how busy at work to have talks with God. Tell God anything that is on your mind. See friend, the enemy the devil would like for you not to have God on your mind. He will do anything to distract you away from God. But greater is He that is within you than he (satan) that is in the world. Brother, we all fall short the glory of God. Repent when you know you've done something displeasing to God. The devil don't want for you to remember to repent.
Ask the Holy Spirit for His help. He won't let you down. Try to keep fellowship with your Christian family in church. If you know a Christian friend you feel comportable with, ask him if you can talk to him sometimes and share with him what you are facing spiritually.
I will make sure I keep you in prayer. God's Blessing be poured on you mightly.

Pray for Jesus to help you in your walk of faith. Read your bible. It is God's Word.
Just because you believe, and even accept Christ as your Saviour, does not mean you won't sin. We all do. That is why we must pray daily for forgiveness and strength.
As you grow in your faith, the struggle will get much easier, but don't expect to ever be sin-free. As long as we live in these carnal bodies, we will sin. But, our soul is what matters. Once we accept Jesus, our souls are sealed until the day of redemption. Satan may affect our carnal bodies, but he can't touch a soul saved by Jesus.

I am not judging you. Keep on praying to God and ask Him for His help.
Edit: If I were just to cease after I die - I am ok with this. I am not frightened but I say this now because I am not lying on a death bed. Hopefully when the day comes I will still be ok too.

You sound impressionable. The sort of person who needs the crutch of religion to get through life.
There's no harm in living a fantasy life as long as you don't try to influence other people

Relax, we are all that way. We are all sinners but you just have to keep trying and don't put yourself in situations where you will be tempted. Keep praying and keep your eyes on God. You'll be okay.
