Is a sunshield sufficient enough to use as a reflector?

I'm not a professional so I'm not looking for anything fancy. I need something inexpensive that will work, seeing as I don't have a job besides my occasional photoshoots.

Wow. Most impressive body of work. It really hurts to watch those 'unhappy' photographs.

But as an answer to your question:
fhotoace is absolutely right. Except that if you HAVE those creases in your reflector, I think you would use those streaks of light to your advantage.

i have used all sorts of things, white card board, sunsheild relectors, boards painted white/silver and gold. really anything will do, and anything will do alot better than nothing.
