Just call 1-800-PROGRESSIVE.......you may have an automated attendant at first but hang in there,,,,someone should answer shortly!

I think they close on Christmas!

If I were you, I would go ahead and get a rental right away, then if insurance is going to drag their butt, then they can reimburse you for the rental. Not sure about Progressive, but State Farm is pretty good at hooking you up, plus there is always someone available 24/7. If you can't get someone to talk to at ANY time of day, I highly recommend finding a different insurance carrier. Accidents don't just happen when the office is open, ya know.

Progressive was CLOSED? I don't believe it. They have people answer the phones, 24/7, even on Christmas Day.

If you have rental car coverage on your policy (full coverage does NOT necessarily mean rental coverage), they'll have you in a car today. Call them back, right now.

Call them during normal business hours. If you HAVE rental coverage on your policy, you should be able to get into one right away, unless there are stipulations on your policy.

Reminder though, Full Coverage doesn't always include rental. Full coverage is usually just your collision and comprehensive coverage. Check to see that you have rental first.

Call them in the morning. The automated system should have given you a claim number, so refer to that claim number ASAP. You *do* have rental car coverage, I hope? (full coverage doesn't always include rental car coverage)

Most likely when they open in the morning and the rental would be set up almost immediately.

You should consult an accident attorney in your local area.

THEY SHOULD CONTACT YOU BY AT LEAST 9:00 AM AND YOU SHOULD HAVE TO PROBLEMS BECAUSE THE PERSON THAT HIT YOU WAS AT FAULT.
