Now the real question is: do the girls who go out with the jerks stay with the jerks? For most of the girls I know, they really don't stay with the jerks. Even if it goes on for like 3 years, it still ends up broken.
I think it might be because the jerks at least are outgoing and honest. You can fake being nice...but faking being a jerk? Who really does that? So pretty much the jerks are honest. The girl gets to know the guy even without talking to him or anything. Then they have made their decision without having to go for the nice people.
But there are many nice people who go out with girls.

because although they are jerks, they are confident. And girls want a guy who is confident. So they make the sacrifice. If you can put your nice-guy ways aside w/o becomming a jerk go for it, your girl will be the happiest girl in the world

but i've never gone out with a jerk... okay i'll admit it i've never gone out with any guy
But It always seems that I'd get a crush on the jerks. I'm trying not to do that because I know I'll just get my heart broke because when I crush I crush big time. But like now I kind of like this guy. He'll talk to me and he's funny and stuff. But you know he's older then me and we have different friends so i don't think he'll like me back. But ya know what he could like me but i've crushed on so many jerks that idk what to think.

jerks are usually outgoing and approachable to girls, shy guys aren't as easy to get to know
