Honestly, it's difficult to find inner-beauty without being first attracted to a person physically.

If you find something repugnant about someone, chances are you aren't going to notice all the nice things about their personality... you'll end up focusing on their negative aspects.

Keep in mind, though, that physical beauty is subjective and differs from person to person so while you may appear unattractive to one person, someone else may think you're the most beautiful thing they've ever seen. That's why it is important to be a good person inside, as well, because while you can have a relationship built on physical chemistry, you need to emotionally and spiritually connect with your partner, too.

It depends on the person. I would rather go out with someone that is mildly physically attractive and has a great personality rather than go out with someone smoking hot but is concerned only about looks and shows no kindness to others.

that seems to be the idea these days
