My good friend is in a custody battle,she's 17 and the guy is 23.Me and her live right beside each other and she is a great mom and loves her baby dearly the baby is almost 2 months old,The guy left her when she was pregnant.Well yesterday she ran over here and got me she was so scared he was in the road by there house causing trouble saying someone threw a rock at his car,well my firends dad was gone but drove quickly and got home to protect his daughter,when her ad got here he got into it with babys dad and punched him,just protecting himself,well the guy went and pressed charges.How can this happen whe he was in front of there house causing trouble?It took the police forever to show up and now this 23 yo peace of crap isnt going to get in any trouble??I dont get it
Well the girls brother is in trouble to foor terroristic threathining and i was there he did not say thoes things they put on his court papers,can your do anything about people making false statements and lies??

Tonight the police showed up at both our houses searching for a friggin meth lab???? they callled and said there was one and the baby is in danger aslo a social worker showed up,now this is bull!!!couldnt this be slander and harassment??calling the cops and lying on people?

You know something, while it's wrong for people to call the police and file false police reports (it's also illegal), if the reports really are false, you have nothing to worry about. The authorities will discover the truth of the matter soon enough. You know the saying "the truth shall set you free." It will. Stuff like this usually comes out in court, if it even gets to that point. Good luck to you and your friend.

Get a lawyer, go to court, straighten it out. Problem solved. Your friend's dad should get into trouble. He had no right punching someone. He only has rights to defend himself, not be the agressor.
