White Van rip off

It happens every day. This is just one persons story.

Read the following:

(I just got hosed big time! Just like everyone else, I was suckered by the two guys in the white van...same story that everyone else has reported...

I was just ripped off by 2 white guys in a van outside of a Brooks Pharmacy in Quincy, MA. They approached me with these 'awesome' Theater Research speakers that retailed for $1999.99 each.

I ended up paying him $300 for these speakers (I went inside and used an ATM at the Star Market). I went home and was trying to research the speakers, but all I got were links to scam sites like this. Any help in finding a phone number/address of these people would be appreciated.

All I have is that it was a white van, and they work for American Sound Systems out of Bridgewater, MA.

Man am I sucker...)

It happens a lot. Don't get fooled. If you have. Don't fill bad. These guy's are very good liar's.

They even tried to get me. While I was prewiring a system at a construction site.

This brand is one of the many brands that fall under the "White Van Speaker" Scheme. They are not sold in stores and are only sold from the backs of Van under the guise of "It's a great deal because of an inventory error so we gotta get rid of them cheap."
Type in "White Van speaker scam" on any search engine and you will find out plenty.
There is a great article on Wiki in the link provided
