Because of that liberal lunatic, Gore, who needs to face a class action lawsuit in a civil court of law because of his mass deceptions, now debunked by scientists.

The head of the peace prize organiztion should stand in front of him and strip him of that dumb prize.

the opinions of the scientific community are never unanimous. but the general trend is that global warming is a real danger, and the discussions are how bad is it going to be if we do nothing.
since the big polluters (the US and China) do not intend to do anything about global warming, it is very certain that something bad is coming our way.

Oh I believe our global climate is changing, but I don't feel alarm bells should be going off about it. Or that it's being sped along by mankind.

See, global warming is only slightly affected by humans, most of it is because of the current of nature. It is happening though, no matter if we are affecting it or not and that's why we have to prepare for it. It is pretty big of a threat, just like the ice age was.

Here it is in your answers. People who have absolutely no idea what a scientific fact is or how to prove one are convinced that global warming can not be argued against.

I am still waiting to see a definition for global warming. There is no such thing as a scientific theory that is undefined. Without definition there can be no review of the evidence by others.

They are so convinced that they will not dare to watch the 20/20 report below.

Edit:
You have to love people who tell you to watch some fictional movie so that you understand what will happen.

Did you watch the video Bob? Did you see that scientists lives are being threatened for speaking out against this hoax? Did you see that they had to threaten law suits to get their names removed from the list as people who support it?

Because that's what the data and the vast majority of scientists say. The "skeptics" are noisy but very few.

There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:

http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articles/home_page/412.php?lb=hmpg1&pnt=412&nid=&id=

And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change
http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/full/306/5702/1686

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know... Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point. You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."

Dr. Jerry Mahlman, NOAA

EDIT - or you could just believe John Stossel instead of most all the world's scientists. His track record is a little dodgy, though:

"The Stossel Treatment
Selective editing and other unethical tactics"

"After the news about the non-existent test was picked up by mainstream media, ABC announced that it would reprimand Stossel and suspend his producer"

Is the climate changing? Yes.

Are humans responsible? No.

Man-made global warming is the biggest hoax of our generation.

Global warming is happening now and is unpredictable. Just like you may take care of your body you may still die early. However to most likely increase your life you take care of yourself. So people are really taking steps to get others on the band wagon to help keep our home (earth) around as long as possible even though it may not be as bad as some people say it is.

Because the scientific evidence that man is causing global warming is overwhelming!

Those scientists that you're talking about are just about all bought and paid for by the oil, gas and coal industries. The rest of the objective scientists out there think differently.

people believe in global warming because now it has started showing its effects. various changes taking place in france(where many people died due to an alarming rate of increase in temperature) canada and australia. glaciers have already started melting and many animal species have become extinct. if it didn't exist that is the IPCC(which got the Nobel Prize) which gives its report on climate change set up for fun???

Who are these "real scientists"? Fred Singer? Hmm may want to check out who is paying them.

Ask people in the North (Alaska or northern Canada) if global warming is real.
