Christians don't support slavery. And anyone who doesn't realize that Middle Eastern Slavery and American Slavery aren't two COMPLETELY different concepts are woefully ignorant of history.

The slave laws that they used to punish slaves came from the Bible. It was the Church clergyman Bartholomew - Christopher Columbus' brother who convinced the Western people through the Church influence that Blacks are soulless savages fit for the rigors of slavery and in return these pagans would become Christianized as they determined to hide the fact that these slave-to-be were the people who the Bible stories came from. Because of the negative assumptions about the slaves who came here telling their ancient Bible stories and singing the songs, the Christians were the most vicious and cruel masters. Over 50,000,000 million slaves died in the middle passage alone - not counting the plantation, but it was for the Church, not like the Holocaust. The religion turned the Africans who invented it into slaves. Anyone wonna learn from that?

Honey, Everything you are saying is our version of God. Did he come down and write the Bible? Did he actually say homosexuals will burn in hell even though they could have lived the life of a saint? Every religion describes God to fit there needs. All religions have used God as an excuse to support wars, to condemn groups of people or even to enslave people. You say he doesnt likeany kind of people who dont follow his "rules." But he didnt make these rules, we did. Humankind made them, not God.

Do you really think God would have us murder people he created? Do you really think he would have us destroy what he holds so dear? Look around, at the trees, at the wondrous things mankind can do if we would stop trying to get everyone to conform, if we would just stop being so damn scared of everything that is different? He made us all diiferent, All of us to hold our own beliefs so do you really think he will condemn us for being what he made us to be? He made us to be different.

I believe he made us, but what we have become and what we have done.... thats all on our hands. Wars, murders, pain and sorrow we did all that. But he gave us tools to fix that: Ours hands, our words, our hearts can destroy and build such beauty, happiness, fulfillment and love.

So don't blame history or hatred or such sorrow on God because we did all that on our own, to fit our version of God.

God does not hate gays, lesbians, nor left,or right wingers. He HATES the acts that many have turned to.Sodom and Gomarrah was destroyed for this. But don't think he hates for the sake of hating. He hates that we have gone so far away from him,and his teachings. He is real ,not some idea, nor a whisper,he is real. And he is returning to this earth for all who desire to follow what he says. That's real. And for those who hate without reason, well thjat's another story. As for slavery,it was permitted because of disobedience, and idolatry.

Mores at the time the bible was developed were different from what they are now, and slavery was common. It remained common until the 19th century; the Qur'an speaks of how to treat slaves. (Immediate manumission is not a prescribed treatment.) Since god is a fiction, the notion that either of these works is god-given or god-inspired is false.

religions define god, they use the unknown and uncertainties build superstitions to control and enslave the population... religion itself is a form of slavery.. and religions seek only to preserve the life of the religion not the lives of the humans they enslave...
