or

Chicken pot pie (includes chicken, pie crust & mixed vegetables,) buttered grits, peach cobbler, sweet tea.

hey meagan, i found this web site the other day. go to your search engine and search for, 100 dishes to eat in alabama before you die, they are listed and the small town resturants where they are served. since to kill a mocking bird takes place and the author and truman capote, who was one of best friends were from. also truman is really dill in the story. the list really is neat and you can make up you own menu from all the foods listed. have fun and don't get too hungery reading the list, it's yummy,bacondebaker

You should definately do fried green tomatoes those were very popular in the 30"s and 40's. My grandmother used to make those and I miss em . Good luck and God bless on your project .
