There is little that we understand about the afterlife. We know that God raised Jesus from the dead and that Jesus will return. We have a hope of resurrection. We know in heaven we will be like the angels.
The bible never discusses reincarnation. However, reincarnation is in surrounding cultures. Abraham did come from Ur.
Heaven is where God is and hell is where God isn't. We are on earth, and as Christians, we search the Kingdom of God, a kingdom not on earth.
Christians do not determine who goes to heaven or hell. God not man judges.
Answer: Christians believe that God revealed himself through the prophets as documented in the bible. God did not say anything about reincarnation, and technically Christians should not say anything about it as well. Christians are asked to teach all nations and reincarnation is not in the lesson plan.

Good Question, well reincarnation is coming back as something or someone else right? well Jesus is the father the son and the holy sport and is NOT HUMAN or ANIMAL so the whole reincarnation thing is screwed up. I think Christians beliefs are kinda weird and confusing my self. if you have any other questions fill free to ask my dads a pastor and i don't believe in god so you get both sides =]

Your assertion that reincarnation and the second coming are somehow the same thing is what does not make sense.
Jesus was resurrected and therefore there would not be any reason for another incarnation.
The second coming is not reincarnation. He will not be made flesh again or given a new body(which is what reincarnation is), he will be the same flesh he always was, the same incarnation.
Get a dictionary and look up Incarnation, Reincarnation, and resurrection.
To your edit: Why would a theist think that there is something that they could not do that their deity could. To that I answer Duh! Think about it.
You just sound silly if you can't grasp the concept of why a a theist would think they cannot do what a deity can.

Reincarnation is based on the belief that one can die and come back in another form. Reincarnation depends on one believing that at face value but it is a teaching of man and nothing more.
In the Bible, it says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement (Hebrews 9:27). No second life in this earthly realm. We will all have to face the judgement after we die and we will either be rewarded through eternal life in heaven or condemned to an eternity in hell.
Jesus is deity and gave up his life willingly and had the power to take it up again (and he did). The topics of heaven and hell and the accounts given of Christ rising from the dead and returning are all based on the facts contained in the Bible. Since God says the Bible is his word, it's up to us to believe it in faith. We need to accept that God is telling the truth. "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began" (Titus 1:2).
Hope this helps.

Resurrection is very different from reincarnation. Reincarnation as I understand it, you come back as a different person or even a different life form. Resurrection is the same person just in a "glorified body". Besides, Jesus is God, so He has power over death and hell--He is eternal--He took human form for a time and lived and dwelt among us to teach us & to die on the cross (and to resurrect Himself) but He has always existed and will always continue to exist as part of the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit).
Completely different concept than people coming back as cows or monkeys or whatever.

Reincarnation is the belief that the soul, upon death of the body, comes back to earth in another body or form. If Jesus were to return he would come back as he was before. Christians do not believe we will return in a different body or form. They believe in the rapture which is meeting Christ midway in the air upon his return to earth.
Until Jesus returns to earth all souls are in either heaven or hell.

There is no need for reincarnation ..resurrection makes much more sense .. the soul will go back to our bodies and that's it.
Concerning prophet Jesus will come back to earth we moslems believe in that too he will come back resurrected so the idea of reincarnation is not there in both cases for us and for prophet Jesus peace be up on him.

We don't believe that we are born over and over again with no recollection of our last life here on earth. We believe that we will continually progress, and that part of that includes resurrection, which is drastically different from reincarnation in that we do not come back in a different form.

Jesus died on the cross and arose from the grave and ascended into heaven and is coming back to gather his church and to judge the world.
That's not reincarnation.
He arose in the same body that died on the cross and is coming back to the earth in the same one.

Just know that these ideas were developed to
take advantage of the ignorance that exsisted
then.
The only hell there is, is the one you create for
yourself when you're alive and able to witness it.
Same goes for heaven. Once you die, that's it.
You'll never know.
Reason I know this is because no one has ever
came back to tell me where they are or went when
they checked out of this world. No One!!
Know that when death comes calling, it rarely leaves
empty-handed.
Make your funeral arrangements early.
At least you'll have peace of mind, in this world of the
living, that your bodily remains will be disposed of
as you wish.
