Become a priest. Oh, no wait they only vow to be lust-less. They they rape little boys. That's because it is not normal nor natural to live without "lust" or as I think of it, sex.

I don't think living a lustless life is really living. One should not have to supress natural feelings.

If we are talking about lusting after women, I find it is almost impossible to 'live a simple and lustless life' in today's society. Women walk around with their breasts in full display, with low-cut V-necks, tightly fitting shirts, halter tops, etc, etc, and have gone even further by wearing short-shorts, skin tight yoga pants, short skirts, etc. The only way is to enter into a monastery and stay away from these women. Out of sight, out of mind. I honestly cannot believe how disrespectful women are today, to themselves (treating themselves as sex objects), their fellow male citizens (who are clearly susceptible to such overt sexuality and are often unable to focus on more important matters), and their fellow female citizens (who are married to or dating the men being enticed, instilling lust in their hearts and, in essence, spurring them to commit a form of adultery).

Becoming Buddhist. Simplify and create zen to throw out unnecessary temptation and bad apples. Dont dwell on money and leave envy in solo status. Without distractions be one with breaking down chaos and becoming at ease with yourself and the world.

Die early!

No, really lustful thoughts are not bad, its how you deal with them. You're okay if you have them as long as you keep them in your head and don't behave on them. If you feel compelled to ask for forgiveness for even thinking them, that is fine too.

As for the simple living, be happy with what you have. Spend less than you earn and give away all you can.

Peace.....Keep your thoughts on things above - of the spirit - learn self control and self discipline - married or not, you will require these things to maintain a simple and prayerful life. Read "The Desert Fathers"..... God Bless, "orthros"

Lustless. That's difficult. Can I ask why you wish to not lust> If you are a Christian, like me, than you could focus your attention on God whenever you find yourself tempted to lust. I usually start humming a hymn to distract me.

If you can go your whole life know God is sitting right next to you. Looking at everything you do. You will do pretty well. Just talk to him.
