Personally I would have to say Brandy/Cognac, then Whisky, then Rum, Vodka, and then Creme Liquors or some Amaretto, then some wine or port or if it just relaxing in the night sipping a nice ice wine or late harvest wine.

Amaretto or a nice cognac really makes after dinner drinking special. Some people enjoy Sherry.

It really comes down to personal preference...

But after dinner, I would suggest a coffee drink, perhaps with some baileys or kahlua to make it more interesting. Brandy would also be a nice one to have on stock for the more mature taste.

Of course, rum and vodka are staples because they can be mixed so easily. And wine should be served with dinner.

After dinner you would most likely to unwind for a bit therefore the best drink beside water would have to be wine. It has a sensual flavor as well as smooth and soft down to its core unlike the other hard stuff. It is also suggested because it removes bad cholesterols and helps with the digitations of food. So I would say wine all the way... :)

I would suggest a steaming, hot cup of cocoa with a hint of peppermint schnapps and a float of Crown Royal. Save the marshmallows for the children.

I thought any alchohol after dinner wasnt good not sure. But it may be better before dinner.

After dinner a glass of buttermilk mixed with ginger and salt is good for digestion, so is water mixed with lemon, lemonade.

Milk isnt an good idea because you are loading your stomach more.
