you have to have a pretty impressive resume with military background, unless you are looking to be a mechanic for them (and they only take the very experienced, like 10+ years and some general knowledge of self defense) but submit a resume and give it a try!

If you have to ask, no. They hire within their "own". Mercenaries provide a dangerous and necessary service. They are skilled and trained operators within their field. They get payed handsomely for their services. Why shouldn't they? And why do people hate on them for making $200K+ a year, doing something that you most likely don't have the stomach or testicular fortitude for?

Mercenaries are scum. Do something productive instead.
Edit> When someone takes up arms in defense of their country and wears the uniform of the American armed forces, in my mind that makes them heroes and patriots. When you pick up a weapon and kill people to get rich, in my mind that makes you a thug and a murderer. There is no one worse than a mercenary, a murderer-for-hire, subject to no laws and answerable to nothing but the dollar. I don't care how brave you think you are - if you are killing for money, you're nothing more than a glorified hitman.
We shame ourselves by allowing private corporations to own armies, and we should not be surprised when mercenaries commit crimes against the laws of war. These animals are a danger to our society, and need to be dealt with accordingly.
