Refundable Plane Tickets

It all depends on the price, there are alot of tickets when purchased for under a certain amount cannot be refunded. Also, sometime if it was from a sale the airline has it cannot be refunded. The best thing to do it to go to the airline site and check. Or if its a electronic ticket, and you got a e-mail with the confirmation, read the find print at the bottom of the screen, it'll tell you there.

Are Plane Tickets Refundable

Most airline tickets bought are non refundable unless you but directly from the airline and specifically say that your want a refundable or adjustable ticket. Most normal people do not purchase this type of ticket because they are mire expensive. Mostly people who travel for work or very frequently for other reasons will purchase this type of ticket. The only way to change the ticket is to pay a penalty unless there was some type of life event in which case they will ask for proof.

If it's a "refundable or exchangeable" ticket you have a delay to ask for the refund. This is precised on your ticket terms and conditions.

If your ticket is not "no refund, no exchange" most of people will tell you that you can't be refunded but that not true ! Actually, in any case, you can get a refund on a part of your ticket price.

The airport taxes you have paid when purchasing your ticket can, in any case, be refunded (even if OTA doesn't tell it to you). It's not peanuts ! Actually Airport taxes can represent up to 50% of the whole ticket price.

It depends on whether the ticket is refundable or not. Unfortunately most tickets are non-refundable, although they will also usually let you get a credit for the price of the ticket that you can use on another flight on that airline (but of course, will charge a fairly hefty penalty as well). The only way to be sure is to ask the airline directly instead of random strangers on Yahoo! Answers.

Not all of it, and some airlines will give you a voucher instead and some won't give you anything so call the airline customer service and see what is their policy.

hi!
It depends on the fare you booked. if you have your receipt look for this "nonref" if you find it somewhere in your ticket then your ticket is not refoundable.
You should call your airline and ask if your ticket is refoundable or not, if you searched for the cheapest fare probably yours is not.

Good Luck!
