This has been a recurrent problem since 2003. I'm 27 years old, female. Anybody going through this or has gone through this? What is the best way to relieve the pain? Should I put hot or cold on it? THANK YOU for your help.

Carpel Tunnel is an infection in the liner of the nerve sheathes, no way is a chiropractor going to manipulate the sheathe and "Make the pain go away"
You have an infection in the sheathe and it's going to stay there without treatment. You may have to wear a brace to stop some type of movement that your constantly doing that's irritating it.
Sometimes cold will help the pain. I would see my doctor and see how bad it is, he will give you a script probably anti-biotics and a pain reliever.
Sometimes therapy will work. There are a number of things you can do. People have had to change their occupations due to the constant type of work they do. Some people are just susceptible to this, there are no real answers.

The snapping sound may not be the carpel tunnel but a wrist bone, I have that problem. My wrists are worn, a arthroscope will show that. Simple surgery will help if this is the problem but, you'll have to see a orthopedic surgeon or a neurologist.

truth is the best thing I ever did for my carpal tunnel was I saw my chiropractor. I'm not sure exactly what he did but within 24 hours I was completely paiun free. If I do get a flare I use biofreeze and I wear a brace. Always use ice first. You can also talk to your doc about physical therapy to help.
